Sapphire Class is our Specially Resourced Provision (SRP), offering high-quality provision for children across EYFS, Keystage 1 and Keystage 2, within a mainstream setting.  

The children in our class are autistic (ASD) and have recognised moderate learning difficulties (MLD), and each child has an Education, Health, Care Plan (EHCP) in place. 

Our class is a small group, so there are opportunities for a high level of individual support for each of the children. Learning experiences in Sapphire Class are offered through a multisensory and total communication approach, enabling the children to access the curriculum in ways that suit their preferred learning style. 

We have a wonderful classroom space, including our own sensory room, and we also have our own outdoor area. 

The children are very much valued as part of our whole school community and are included in their mainstream class activities as much as possible.
