Invictus Games

Invictus Games

Last week, some of our incredible children attended the local ‘Invictus Games Festival’. As they walked to, and from, the venue at Birch Hill Recreation Ground, the children represented our school fantastically well.

Once there, led by a group of young coaches, our children learned the skills needed to play ‘Danger Ball’, ‘Pillow Ball’ and two variations of Archery, before embarking upon some friendly matches with children from other local schools.

They consistently gave wonderful focus and determination whilst learning new skills – we had some particularly skilled archers! The children’s ability to support each other as a team was second to none, and was even noted by the coaches.

It was amazing to see so many smiles throughout the festival, and seeing the children learning, believing and achieving together. We are so proud of them all!
