Headteacher's Welcome

Welcome to Birch Hill Primary School. It is a privilege to be the Headteacher, leading an enthusiastic and committed team.

We are a two form entry community school serving the Birch Hill and Hanworth districts of Bracknell Forest. In addition to the main school, we offer a nursery and host an Inclusion Unit (KS2). We can accommodate 420 children, plus 52 spaces in our nursery. The school is organised into two Key Stages - EYFS/ KS1 and KS2, with a Deputy Head leading each Key Stage. The school was built in 1975 and offers spacious, single storey accommodation.

Our Motto is: Learn, Believe, Achieve. We set high standards of work and achieve this through providing the 'Inspire' curriculum, developing children's belief that they can achieve their highest potential and we work closely with parents and the whole community.

With that in mind we greatly value our partnership with parents. We believe that working together is the best way to ensure your child develops a solid foundation and a love for

We are a Rights & Respecting School (following the UN Children’s Charter) and have our own school Rights & Responsibilities Charter to encourage and develop the children’s sense of respect and responsibility.

We hold school tours throughout the year and encourage you to come along and have a look around.

I look forward to meeting you.
